Meet Jess
Hi, I'm Jess, the sole owner/operator of Wine Country Babysitting. For the past 5 years, I've called Cessnock home with my husband Glenn and our two adorable 'Fur Babies', Sammy and Hope. My journey into childcare started early, living near a Child Care Centre during my upbringing. This proximity allowed me to immerse myself in childcare responsibilities after High School, igniting my passion for working with children from a young age.
Experience and Qualifications
After completing my schooling in 2003, I embarked on a traineeship for my Certificate III & Diploma of Children’s Services at the same Child Care Centre where my journey began. With 18 years of hands-on experience in the Child Care Industry, I've worked as an educator with all age groups, ranging from newborns to 12 years old. Presently, I serve as a Casual Child Care Educator at a remarkable Community-Based Long Day Care Centre/Outside of School Hours (OOSH) in the Cessnock area, catering to children aged from 6 weeks to 12 years old. My qualifications include a Diploma of Children’s Services completed in 2005, a Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting Certificate, along with CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training. Additionally, I hold a Working with Children Check (available to view on request), possess a Full Driver’s Licence, and ensure safe transportation with Full Comprehensive Insurance & Age Appropriate Child Seating/Restraints.
